Hello Christmas! You may have your tree decorated already, if so maybe you can use these ideas for next year....
Details add depth to your tree.......
I love this tree stand, don't you?
The use of ribbon, apples and wrapping give this room a pulled together look. Remember to make your tree a blended part of your home.
DIY tags with sayings....
Let's get started....
I'm sure most of your have a collection of ornaments, Unless you are newly married, then your probably have more than you can use.....maybe I'm just telling on myself.
Spread the branches of the tree evenly, filling any holes. The first layer are the lights. I like the look of clear lights so that the colors of your ornaments are highlighted. Make sure to string them along the inner branches as well as the outside branches. ( Chan gives lessons in this. It drives her 'OCD self' crazy to see wires)
Next comes your garland, ribbon, or any string of trim that you have. Add all of your filler ornaments, to both the inner and outer branches, spacing them evenly. Remember that layering is important to a well decorated tree, so add them all!
And now come your special ornaments...those with glitz & bling, or cool shapes and textures!
Most people would be finished at this point but no, not me. Sometimes I add things to my tree everyday!
Don't forget to have a special area where you can grab a cup of coffee or hot cocoa and sit and enjoy the beauty of your creation,
This is for Dawn and all of you wonderful horse lovers.....
We would just love to put some of your creation on our blog. Send your pictures to [email protected].
Even if it looks like the pumpkin tree....recycling???
