Do you know which one you are?
I think the 'tell you nothings' know who they are, but I'm not sure the 'tell you everythings' do.
I sometimes wonder if the 'tell you nothings' are afraid of their imperfectness? The old, "they would never like me if they knew the real me".
I have a friend that is definitely a 'tell you nothing', but the other day she shared something with me that told much. And I pray that she doesn't believe that her wonderful imperfectness makes her less likable.....because without a doubt, she is more in my heart now than she ever was before. I think our ragged edges, heartbreaks, fears, silly-crazy-voices, make us more human, more reachable, more hugable, more......just more.
And anyway who wants a perfect friend with a perfect life....I would hate her.....(sorry, hate's kinda a strong word).
So, a challenge to the 'tell you nothings'........tell someone something that you need to say.....they'll love you for it.
