Babbling. You have said da da, ma ma, da dog, bye bye, bah bah, hey, Roar (yup like a lion), and wacko Juuuuuust kidding. But you really have made lots of sounds that sounded like all of those things. Basically you just like to make little noises so your mouth stays pretty busy. You are especially adorable when you imitate the sounds we make.. and when you pant when you get excited. <3
Screaming. You have definitely found your voice and looooove to see how loud you can get. You make dinosaur screeching sounds, look at us to make sure we are watching, then smile and make your happy feet go nuts!
Crawling. You have two crawls right now, the normal way and the 'archer' way, which is basically a combination of a spider monkey, peg leg pirate, and depending on your mood, either an army crawl or wheel-barrow race. It's so flipping adorable.

What you love. Sitting on your bottom and scooting around in a circle, pulling up on anything and everything, books, listening to Mommy sing 'the wheels on the bus', animals, being teased, swinging, being outside, and playing peek a boo (you are even starting to hide your face!)
Your little finger. You often point at random objects (and sometimes nothing). You love to point your finger out and let Darlin touch her pointer finger to yours. For some reason you even like to point your finger in other people's mouths. I'm calling this phase "the E.T. Finger phase"
Favorite game. Mommy starts putting Legos in the box or toys in the basket or anything in anything and you immediately dump everything back out. Every. Time.

Sleeping. Due to all of the pulling up, we had to drop your crib down because you were trying to dive out of that thing! =( On a positive note though, you have been sleeping until 5:45 almost every morning this week (it doesn't count that you wake up twice in the night because you go right back to sleep... Most of the time.) Yay BabyLove!
Feet. You still cross your feet when relaxing and kick them like crazy when you get excited.
Smiles. Your smiles are healing and the happiest things I've ever seen.
Eating. You eat anything! (Fingers crossed this continues!) this month, you have tried (and loved) avocados, cheese, rice, spaghetti, lasagna, an orange Popsicle, lemonade, tortillas, steak, onions, black beans, and you double fisted a petit four as you slammed it in your mouth.
* On a Mommy note... Our breastfeeding journey has ended and I'm devastated. You have handled it like a champ but every now and then you still search... and I may or may not tear up a little.
Vampire baby. So you have four teeth (with multiple more on there way in- Boo!) and you definitely know how to use them. One of your new favorite activities is to grab my face (or hair or earrings), pull my face to yours, and suck and bite whatever your little slobbery mouth lands on. It is so funny, yet so painful.
It is unreal to me that you have been in this world longer than you were in my tummy. Where did 9 months go?? It gets me a little (Khiron would say a lot) emotional thinking about how much you have changed and learning about this amazing little guy you are becoming. I adore watching you explore life and being fascinated with every little thing you encounter. Yeah, I get a little teary when I have to pack up the clothes you have outgrown or when we lowered your crib. But at the same time, I'm so incredibly proud of you. You are doing exactly what you are supposed to be doing.. Growing. Learning. Sharing so much happiness it's sometimes hard for me to breathe. So, so proud of you, BabyLove! The 9th month has been so fun! Excited to see what you do next...
Oh and Row came and visited us for a few weeks and it was wonderful and perfect. I really wish we Arizona and Texas could swap places.
Think of the biggest thing you can imagine. I love you more than that. -Mama
