* Pick your battles ( esp. with my Husby and students!)
* Savor each moment.
* If you love somebody, tell them and do it often.
* If you think something nice about someone, say it out loud. And if it's not nice, don't.
*Don't talk about what you do not know for certain.
*Be healthy (because I kinda want this body to last awhile).
*Laugh more, stress less.
* Be liberal with gifts of heart...
Gifts come in all sorts of packages, sizes, shapes, and colors. They can be given by anyone at anytime. They can cost thousands of dollars or just one. But sometimes, you receive a gift that is priceless. And those kinds of gifts, the priceless kind, are called gifts of heart and they are my favorite.
When a stranger holds the door for you.. When your husband sends you a goofy text because he knows it will make you laugh... When you get a card in the mail for no reason at all... When you drop 100 papers and you look over and find someone on their hands and knees with you, helping you pick them up... When a person tells you they are talking to God about you... When a kid gives you a compliment (bc you know kids tell it like it is)... When your Mom tells you that nothing you could ever do will make her love you less...When a friend gives you her smile because she notices that you don't have yours... These gifts inspire me to be better. To me, these gifts are what life is all about.
I believe that every human being is born with an innate desire to be good. Now all I have to do is hang on to all the good I have left in my heart and share it with anyone who will take it.
To give pleasure to a single heart by a single act is better than a thousand heads bowing in prayer. - Mohandas Gandhi
