A few years ago, I talked her into a real tree for Christmas...not only did she have to purchase a tree, but a stand to put it in. Since she usually used a pre lite tree, I'm sure, she had to buy lights also. She set up the tree herself and put the lights on it. I then got to come in and have fun decorating it. We stayed up quite late (maybe midnight) making it just perfect. After I got home, she called me and laughing hysterically saying, "My tree just fell!" OMGoodness! I race back over there and she had wrangled this beast of a tree to an upright position, broken ornaments scattered all around. We redecorate but not before tying it off to the wall. Did she get mad? If you know her, you know she just laughed and laughed as she has done over other catastrophes in the past....wedding fiasco, broken teeth, and sheer bathing suit cover-ups (I really need to tell you about this one day) just to name a few. Someone who can laugh with you over mishaps and not fuss and complain. are gifts. I am so honored that after all these years, she still calls me her friend. We share some wonderful memories and that is what makes the best of friends. People who know you, mistakes and all and still love you.
Today (it's her birthday) and every other day of the years gone and those to come, I thank God for this beautiful one I call friend!
Happy Birthday Kimbo....
I hope your day is full of wishes come true!
YOU ARE AWESOME!
AND I LOVE YOU REAL GOOD...
