Did you know that you can travel north long enough so that you eventually are traveling south?
But.....
you can travel east forever and NEVER meet west.
Guess that's why HE used east and west and not north and south...............How cool is that???
He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west. Psalm 103:12 Did you know that you can travel north long enough so that you eventually are traveling south? But..... you can travel east forever and NEVER meet west. Guess that's why HE used east and west and not north and south...............How cool is that???

I like to do this not only for the giving, but because IT LETS ME BE MY MOTHER......... My mother never realized what a gift she was to others. She could sooth my soul when I was in her presence. My problems seems smaller, my tasks seemed easier, my creations more beautiful. I still hear her whispering in my ear...."You are amazing, I am so proud of you". Mom could just BE and that was enough. But she loved to give, her time, talents, and her self. Happies were her creation. A loving on others without words, just a reminder to one... You are a Gift to Me, I Love You I want to hear this, don't you? So let me be my mother today and give you some 'Happies'. A card that expresses why, a candle to remember, a treat that lets you indulge, tied into a placemat that could later be used to place a meal on and the person will remember and....SMILE. A bottle of wine, with a childish treat tucked beside. 'Happies' don't have to cost alot. Or be filled with the most unusal things. 'Happies' can be words or actions or deeds. We don't care what the gift is, just that you took the time to make us feel
Wonderful! Wishing you lots of Happiness, this day and every other. The saying is, "I'm on my soapbox". Well, I know what it means and I'm smart enough to figure out what a soapbox is but ~~~~~~~ it's not really relevant today, is it? So what should it be? "I'm on my step" (weak ~~~really weak) "I'm on my stage" (who has one?) "I'm on my stilts" (if you have any of these.....can I borrow?") "I'm on my high heels" (ya gotta admit these are cuter than a box) So I'm on my ~~ red patent leather with a zipper on the toe and a skinny silver heel ~~ high heels and I just don't understand people sometimes. Okay, here's a start: I don't understand why we reward bad behavior just to prevent a fuss! I don't understand why the 'squeaky wheel gets oiled first'. I don't understand why communicating our needs makes us needy. When we're hungry, we say we want to eat. When we're tired we say we want to sleep. When we're mad, we say *#**#. So, what's so bad about saying we need a hug? HERE'S THE BIGGY!!! I don't understand why we are so resistant to saying good things about ourselves. Guess what? Sometimes We Are Pretty Amazing!! We don't have a problem saying good things about our family, our friends, our sixth cousin once removed, even that person down the road that we don't really even like, so what makes it different? Do we think we're bragging? Do we not believe there is anything good about us? Have we been taught that complimenting ourselves is vain, proud, narcissistic, conceited or arrogant? I guess so. It is NOT vain to say thank you for a compliment. It is NOT narcissism to say, 'my hair looks good today'. It is NOT arrogant to be proud that we got our house cleaned and still had time to paint our toenails red. SO HERE'S THE PLAN: We have decided to dedicate the next couple of weeks to getting ourselves "IN THE PINK" spiritually, emotionally, physically and mentally "Pink looks good on everyone, you just have to pink the right shade" anonymous "Pink isn't just a color, it's an attitude!" Miley Cyrus So step number 1: Say something nice about yourself!!! Even it's just to the mirror, mirror on the wall. Maybe especially to the mirror and that person looking at you from it. Every morning.....SAY IT. Say something good about you. And if you need any help coming up with something, just ask us...... BECAUSE WE KNOW THAT YOU ARE REMARKABLE! "You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love & affection." Buddha "The way you treat yourself sets the standard for others." Dr Sonya Friedman "It's surprising how many persons go through life without ever recognizing that their feelings toward other people are largely determined by their feelings toward themselves, and if you're not comfortable within yourself, you can't be comfortable with others."
