15 trips to the pediatrician. 5 teeth. 2 calls to poison control. 20 mosquito bites. One dunk in the pool. 3 trips to the beach. A bajillion diapers. 1000 Magee licks. 2 car seats. 8 rejected pacifiers. 6 rejected sippy cups. 0 rejected blueberries. 5,000,000 cuddles. 525,600 minutes (thanks RENT). 365 days of you (well 385 since I'm writing this late). This year has been the most wonderful/scary/amazing/messy/incredible/stressful/joyous/fulfilling year I've ever had. You are everything and so much more than I ever dreamed you would be... So much so that sometimes I have to remind myself you are real. Thank you, thank you for being a constant reminder of all things good in the world. Your Dad and I couldn't be more proud of you! We love you big and always!
Psst.
Cannot WAIT to experience your second year of life! I just know it will be amazing. <3

Funny things you do:
- grab some dog food or something else you aren't supposed to have, take off run/walking, wanting us to chase you, cackling all the way
- when I ask for a goodnight kiss before putting you in your crib, you open your mouth as wide as possible, plant it on my face, and smile
- shake your head back and forth when you are 'dancing'
- first milk of the day and the last milk of the day you do this half pant/half chuckle thing while you squeeze your hands and kick your feet. Baby boy loves some almond milk!
- if we say nose, you want to touch whoever's nose is closest to you
- if we swat at a fly (or nothing), you giggle with glee. Oh, it's the little things... Hehe

Many thanks to Brooke Davis for these extra dreamy Archer moments. You are precious!
Your dad and I had the best time celebrating you with (ALMOST) all of our favorite people at your first birthday party, but I don't think I can say the same for you. You loved the cake and mac n cheese (of course the food was your fav), but it was just a little too much excitement for little ole you. However, you had a marvelous time playing with all of your presents once everyone left. ; ) little stinker...
HUGE thanks to Holly Robertson for always being there to snap our favorite moments. You are just wonderful!
Special thanks to the following for getting us through your first year in the world: THE ball (I seriously do not know if we could have made it without this thing), Nana and Papaw for all of the fun toys and clothes, Big Daddy, Sugar, and the girls for keeping Archer stylish and entertained, our fabulous pediatrician, all my Mama friends for all of the advice swapping (esp. Nadja, Jansci, Katie, Kristen, Leah, and Dinah), Megan and Anna for loving Arch like he is yours, Karen for keeping our tummies full of yummy food, Nemo and Dori for quiet car rides and peaceful breathing treatments, Mrs. Joy and Mr. Adam for being exactly the kind of people you dream of leaving your child with, and every friend and family member who has shown love to our Archmonkey. Love you all to pieces!!! Lastly, to Darlin and Mia... my heart overflows with all of the ways you love me and this precious little boy. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making our life the wonderful thing it is.
