There are so many things I remember about you.. The way you always smelled like lotion… how smooth your skin felt (probably because of all that lotion)…the way you sang “Mrs. Mary Mack”… that you always had a Mr. Goodbar in the bottom drawer of your refrigerator… the way you literally forced me to eat a banana every day for four days straight (yuck!)- knowing that I detested bananas. You told me that if I ate them enough, I would start to like them. I know you were a wise woman, but the banana thing, well, it never really worked out. I don’t think I have actually tasted banana (on purpose) since then. BUT, I do appreciate all of your efforts. I know your heart was in the right place ; ) Maybe the banana liking gene skipped me and BabyLove will get it! It’s basically the only fruit Khiron will eat so there is a good chance it will happen. I promise to offer BabyLove bananas multiple times and of course I will be teaching him the lyrics to “Mrs. Mary Mack”! Until I see you again, I will end with my favorite saying of yours… I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck! = )
